I hate that, you work ya nuts off thinking you got it and then that happens, no justice!!

I had a couple of samll probs rigging the girl character around the holster as the object was being influenced by the knee joint of all places!! Took a while to figure what the hell was going on!!!

Is that all??!!

I've got six characters to build , texture and rig, a shed load of matte painting to do, more writing of the story, environments to create, update the web site when its up , oversee the improvement of the Premier at work, keep the wife happy, entertain my daughter, decorate the landing and bathroom, do my hair, paint my nails, scratch my arse, feed the parrot, walk the dog, tickle the gerbil, shave the hamster, scratch my arse again. And thats just this morning!!! LOL

user added image - Shave the HAMPSTER?

i kinda wanted to leave out the details, but..

wife is shopping in Norwich, she's happy
kids skimming intelect from watching timmy and his fairly odd parents on nick tv - (theyr'e sorted)

filled the holes in the wall, fixed the iron, (gift for the wife)

and all this whilst LEARNING maya !!!
is ok for you guru's, i have to justify why i spent so much money on maya - to my ever frowning wife, who watched my cannon spin voilently out of control, and said "thats crap - i dont think you'll ever get that right.."

:sighs and slinks down into soft leather recliner:

murph, for parinting type rigging with mechanical stuff. Its sometimes usefull to use null. like move the null to where you whant the sholder joint. Just child the null under like say the chest group. thin you can parint the arm under the null. You don't have to wory about pivet points of the geo like that.

probably to tyred to be writing this.

hey all. thanks for that Pony, i'll look into it.

i have done a good rig for the arms and they seem to be alright, its just those chuffin cannons, (maybe lasers)

V5 J, let me av a go first - and when i admit defeat, i'll email it to you if you like, (at least i may learn something)
