question aboat a notebook

Hi guys

i am thinking about buying a notebook because i dont want to sit inside this summer but outside in the nice sun getting a tan. the notebook wil only be used to do modeling not animation or texturing this wil be done on my dual xeon workstation.

is this configuration enough. or should i realy go for the much more expensive notebooks with a good videocard.

CPU Typ: AMD Athlon 64
Processor: CPU NB AMD Athlon64 3400+ 62W
1. memory: 512MB DDR 333MHz PC2700 -SO
2. memory: 512MB DDR 333MHz PC2700 -SO
HDD: 40 GB 2.5 Tosh. MK4025GAS
15" tft
onboard video 128 mb shared agp 8(SIS M760 CHIPSET)
windows xp pro or 64 bit when its out

The weakest link: onboard video 128 mb shared agp 8(SIS M760 CHIPSET)

If at all possible, test drive it first, to be sure it will handle what you want it to do.

I could be wroing but I think I heard/read somwhere that Maya has issues with the AMD 64's. But like I said, I could be wrong. Anyone else got an opinion on that?
