This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
Location: Where do u think I am right now? Alright, I'll tell y' all... I'm at Gnomon Workshop and Highend3d sites...Hehehehe...just kiddin':)!!!!Oh, I'm not a ego member anymore? Cool!!!! I'm a Senior Member now!!!!
ok.. I had alot of stuff to do, i got to tweaking and uvmapping her this morning (sorry for the delay) so here is the final model ready for texturing and hair
I am going to bind the skin to a skeleton (I am not going to make a rig , just a simple binding , if I will want to animate it in the future maibe I'll rig ) , oh and by the way it's made from polys so the other option would be to move the vertices
I am curently working on the scene (I'll leave the hair for the end)
I have an cooler ideea that comed to me this weakend for the scene and I'll think I'll add another character (don't know if i'll have the time though )
ok.. I made the hair , at first I wanted to use the hair in Maya , after many tryes I didn't get the result I wanted so I decided to do it the old fashion way (it's harder but the result is more controlable). So I made the hair out of maaaaaanyyy nurbs planes with specular , transparency and color map. I also played with a bump map , but it needs more work , hope you like it , post c&c
