This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

AK-47

started work on a AK-47,

I think you coulda made the bulletz thing more rounded, and that barrel could have used a smooth normals, to knock out that faceted look.

Nice detail, looks great. I luv it. Kepp it up!

Btw Tim i havn't commented on your Ship i dont think... anyways its such a great peice.. i really like the idea of choosing something big and time consuming to model ive been racking my brains to something i could start a journey on. Cause the results r great in the end user added image

playing with a scene for when its finished, i have a problem though, the back handle needs smoothing out as the faces and edges are hard, but i beveled it so is thhere no way to do it now? should i re model this part?
