Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

You cannot put them on a shelf like a normal tool. It's a mel script I found mine by just putting "maya x-ray script" into google. I think there is also a script in highend3d. Just have a look it only takes five minutes to get it.

Just out of curiosity what kind of mac do you have, cause I'm thinking of getting a new one (I really don't want to go back to windows) At the moment im running maya on an Ibook g4 900mhz.....:angery: and as you can imagine it sucks!

Hey,

I run Maya on 2 Macs, and it works great on both.
A Powerbook G4 1.67 Ghz and a powermac G5 2x 2.7 Ghz. One is obviously slightly faster than the other....
Good luck with your new Mac.

Why do you want to have it on your shelf?
I assume that "your" xray effect is the same one as mine, but I do it by going to Shading/X-Ray.
since you can access this command from any viewport that shouldn't be problem.
If you really want the script, I will try to find it for you! user added image
cheers

If the worst hasn't happened yet, that's because you haven't tried everything yet!
