mental ray fast sss ?

I finally got the ss working user added image dang they could have made that a bit easier user added image

But how do can i remove the graininess from the back color ?

sss = sub surface scattering

ie put ur fingers up to a bright light an the look slightly orange its to do with how the light interacts in the object


Now at SMU doing BSc 3D Computer Animation so its hard to get on here

yup user added image really nice for flesh and such where you have a bit light shine through ears or.. milk or candles or whatever :bow:

at my first glance at it, i thought it was grapes.
