Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

My Ninja Char Rig

Hello All, I am getting into animation and so I made my rig, still alot of work to do with painting wheights and binding and what not but i'll get there.

Started Binding

Alright I started binding my model and all seems to go well when I do the legs and shorts newly added..... seperatley but together they dont line up an im not sure why.

the kink is the root bone its supposed to be there from what ive read. Basicly when im actually moving the bones of the model and bend the knee the knee and pants dont match up really wierd gonna re do it and see fi I can correct it with another bone between the knee and heel.

i think that the spine should be attatched to the pelvis or precisely the upper part of the pelvis. in ur case it is some what attetched to the right leg.
Is that right.
