Lab Created Creature

Started a little project that I'll work on when ever I have time user added image
I wanted to create a creature that an almost crazy DNA scientist could have designed user added image

I've started on the head, very much is done with the "Sculpt Poly Tool"
Here is my progress so far! :attn:
(I will post my sketches soon)

Wow, it looks like an insane amount of polies on the head. I don't think it's a good idea to use all that poly to get the wrinkle effects. You should probably play around with bump maps for that the really detailed effects. I'm not good at that yet, so I wouldn't be able to tell you how to do it, but a good idea might be to have a simple shape, map it and then play around with the bumps on that until you're comfortable with it. Just my opinon, but it looks cool though. user added image

Thanks for your comments! user added image

27888 tris, Isn't that much for a super detailed could-be-used-in-a-feature-film like model, hehe
I will use bumps and/or Normal Maps too.

I've been busy lately, but I'll post some updates when I get more done!
(probably this weekend)

Cheers!
