Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Duplicate Problem

Hey everyone!

I've got this annoying problem where if I duplicate an object many times (10+) some of the duplicated objects would not be where they are supposed to be (I set Y increments to 5 and the object may deviate from it as much as 0.1). Am I doing something wrong or is my version of Maya (6.5 Unlimited) getting old?

Thanks

From what your saying, I think your presision is set to high. Set this back to 3 and it should be fine.

Channel Box > Channel > Settings > Change Persision...
