Problem bridging between a duplicate object

Hi there,

Wondering if anyone can help me with this probably very simply problem.

As per the image attached, I have created a duplicate of a rectangular object, set Scale X to -1 to flip it around, removed the opposing faces and attempted to bridge these to create a solid polygonal object.

The result is badly skewed - it seems that the axis of the duplicate object may be confusing the bridge. I have tried deleting history and freezing transformations - no effect.

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan

Check the normals are both facing the same way, in panel lighting turn off two sided lighting if one of the meshes is flipped it will look black.........dave
