Mac Vs PC

Hey guys my laptop has been sent back and im trying to get a refund on it. What i want to know is what do you guys prefer Macs or Pcs?

I'm specing up the Mac Pro and it seems to have a higher performance compared to equivalent pcs that i can build myself for the price. However does maya run well on macs? i really dont want a PC either i hate windows... ive never got on with windows it just seems to easy to break, however my mac mini is a little beast (shame about the graphics on it!).

What are the advantages in having a pc over mac or vise versa..? There was quite a good article in the 3d world magazine this month that talks about macs in 3d and its sold it for me even more but i would appreciate your input.

Thanks

Tom
