Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Been working on the cockpit and front chain gun thingy..also found a nice effect by rendering with physical sky through an orthographic camera.

Great work Paldav, is looking awesome. You may of already sussed the physical sun but if you go into the hypershade you should fine the mia_exposure setting under the utilities tab. To stop the render looking so blown out you can simply lower the gamma.

Keep up the great work and look forward to seeing more on this.

so, the whole thing was ( like me ) just getting too tubby..

I didnt think the engines where working either so i decided to rebuild and do some more blocking out.

I have integrated the engines more and cleaned up the shape generally and slimmed down the fuselage to try and make it more agile, also added extra armament.

Add some edge loops to bevel those edges to pick up specular hilights.

Good stuff!

new site looks great, i have been redisigning the cockpit, still not sure about it, and also adding basic details prior to beveling and smoothing etc.
