LOL, although the ending truly sucked I think this is a bit overboard, if you look at their community forums they are absolutely being flooded with complaints, it's a bit shamefull for a company like Bioware to end it like this, I saw a couple of quotes on the net from the project lead I am affraid that guy has to go in a safehouse once people find those links.Check this out. The franchise was already deteriorating rapidly after ME1 storywise, ME2 made no sense whatsoever and ME3 was in my opinion a grande tour du jour, no real choices , the gameplay was a bit more fun albeit repetitive
I did laugh about a couple of responses on their community though, this one speaks for itself:
