Emitting an object

What I need halp with is emitting a series of balls out an emitter. Could someone help me?

a particle instancer allows you to emit particles from whatever, but replace the particles with a object, so you could have like 50 ducks fly into a wall and bounce off, all being controlled by particles and dynamics
