parking lines...grrrr

Hi everybody....

I want to add a parking lines and to the side walk,I tried the 3d paint tool -play lil bit with itand nothing came out of ituser added image

uh... your welcome? Do you have a question? If it's about how to add parking lines, I'd do so with a texture map, more than likely planar UVd from above.

Mike's advice is the one to follow for that - planar UV map the road and the path and apply the texture to them - you can export the uv maps to the editor of your choice like PS to make the road /path surface and to paint the lines on and to ensure a good fit.

the manual is a good start for most questions. it tells you how to apply differant kind of texture projections (e.g. the planar) to your objects. user added image
