Default weird thing on move tool

look at teh pic there is a weird L shapre arounf=d the tool
dont now how it got there, wat it does or how to get rid of it -
some1 plz tell me how to get rid and also wat it does?

hmm, that is weird. I'd say try resetting your move tool options first.
