Question Does Maya 8.5 works with Windows XP Media Center?

Hello, first of all I'm new here so I would like to thank you for providing such a wonderful forum.

I hope I did not post in the wrong section...

I am trying to buy a new computer and it comes with Windows XP Media Center... does that works with Maya 8.5? Or maya only works well with windows XP pro?
