noise

hi , my question is this....I have 2 objects with a noise in translateY and the 2 objects have the same noise curve , how can I "offset " this noise curve to have in frame one different noise values for each object?

...I've seen things you people wouldn't believe...

add a random number to one/both of them?

e.g. translateY = (noise 42 + rand -80 42);

that will produce pseudo random values for the translateY values.
