Ptex and Color Management

I'm trying out a ptex from Mudbox workflow into Maya. (2016 & 2016). When I render the ptex texture in Maya, it looks washed out like it hasn't been gamma (un)corrected.

I tried setting the color space on the file node to raw or sRGB, neither made a difference. Just to be sure it wasn't a problem with some other nodes, I made a cube with a color picker color, and that came through right.

So I'm not sure if this is an issue with ptex and the new color management, or if I'm doing something wrong.

Used the old-school gamma correct node with 0.454, and that worked. Workaround at least.

Can anyone confirm this? It seems strange that ptex isn't supported in Maya's new Color Management, and I can't find anywhere online that says yes or no to this.

Hi Stwert
Im using mud 2012 that only allows RGBA format, maybe you need to change it to that in maya..................dave
