try this one: www.suurland.com

it has a large section of blueprints. unfortunately mostly sports cars. but has other blueprints there. or can do it like me - with a real brochure from your car dealer and a scanner or a digi cam. the brochures that you can download from internet are usually not high resolution enough to make your own blueprint.

i did not loft them. i am doing "patch modeling" with poly planes. the pieces are all seperate parts with verts touching each other from one piece to next. and where needed i make heavy use of split polygon tool, and pulling verts around. in the finish (and the renders i put up here) the parts are combinded together - sometimes "stitched" with a small visible seam.

the reference i am using is a brochure from dodge dealer. in there are the dimensions and next to that 1.5 x 0.5 inch side, top, front and back views. of this i took a picture with digital cam and macro. these refs are good enough to get the planes in very rough shape and see the lines for bumps and such. for the details i use the full 2-page pictures in brochure. they are really great to take a look at - that is lieing on my desk. dodge wants to sell a car with that, so it puts in pictures that show off all the nice details, with very cool light and shadow effects on them. i once tried to make use of brochures that are for download, but the low resolution sucks :p

thanks
