Polygon & Nurbs ??

is it possible to work with polygon and nurbs the same time, so that part of the model is poly, the other part nurbs? like stitching together a poly face with a nurb. or would i go to subd, if i want both tools combined? and is subd really as good as poly and nurbs together?

but maybe my biggest question is: if i can use subd, could there be any reason, not use it for learning to model? or am i only effective in subd, if i can first model poly and nurbs real good?

i'm confused user added image

While you can't physically attach nurbs to polys, you can use them together.

oh ok thanks. that shortens time to search for it when it is not possible to use them together.
