Cant get it to play=( my quicktime and windows media player wont play it. Said the right compression can't be found, I can play and watch the other tuts from the vip area just fine. Any suggestions on how to get it working I really want to watch it.

Tutorial

Tryed to zip it....but only gains 800k less....;O))

Watched now the movie for the first time....god damned...I have such a slow machine at home....rendering takes forever ;O)))

Next time I'll try to comment the movie...let's have a look if my english is good enough for that ;O))

was just a quick walkthrough a simple shading network....thinks can be improved aso.

But I'm no texturing god user added image

Well thanks to Bulliet I was able to make a have way desent Ice cube. Hopef ully I will have time to make the scene i really should get to work on my animation for my reel=(.

Oh man! I want that video, but when I try to watch it, it says it can't download the codec. Typical. What codec did you use so I can manually download/intall it myself? Thanks! =]

Kurt: I like the ice material but it still lacks some realism. Tried enabling refractions in the material's raytrace options? (you can't see the effect until you enable raytracing in the render globals as well). I'd set the refractive index somewhere about 1.3.

Here's what I achieved after some 10 mins of fiddling:
(notice how the refraction distorts the sphere inside the cube)
