Help with particles and collisions?

I make the particles collide with the glass object, but they still go through it to an extent... im using blobby surface particles and a polygon with mia material

I tried some things in the tutorial, but i still have the same effect.. is there an attribute that prevents the edges of a particle from penetrating the object its colliding with? while at the same time colliding with that object? my "liquid" looks decent with larger particles, but they just protrude through the object even more..
