Camera Aiming

Hey all, I'm working on a lab for class where we animate a toy rollercoaster. We are supposed to make 2 animations. The first with a stationary camera on the ground aiming at the first car. The second animation has the camera "riding" along with the last car while being aimed at the first car. Any help on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

if i wanted to do that (if i read it right)...i would make a camera and aim......parent the aim to the last car...so that it's always pointing at that car....and i would parent the actual camera to the first car...so that it's always from the perspective of the car..and goes wherever to first car goes
