was just wondering how i can import .dxf files into maya... prefably for free!! lol

I've never tried that before, but I think you'd just go to File>Import.

yeh that doesnt work, its an autoCAD file. maya does support them but i need a translator plug-in i think. found one on the tinternet but u have to pay. juw wondering if anyone knows of anything...

i think auto desk has a free plugin for motion builder-maya.., but it enables dfx.., i think.., check it out nyway.., do a search on auto desk
