This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.
well i thought i'd give this a shot - don't know how far i'll get but I am going to model my phone - yeah I know not very original - its an ericsson t65.
Woohoo, go rich! Well, phones are cool , if done right they can look really real. Just on this challenge, make sure that you remember 1 key factor, do it slowly and add TONS OF DETAIL. Maybe on the screen of the phone, you can put some cool pixelated image .
"I should call you sugar maple tree cause i'd totally tap that" haha
I don't know if the following applies to your situation, but there is an option for using texturemaps in the material attributes, which can set the...um... whatsitcalled...um... blur? to none. That may help to get a crisper text on your model I think.
