Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Applying normal maps in maya

Could someone show me their connection strings for applying a normal map in Maya, as the material goes a funny black colour in my hypershade and subsequently doesn't view in the render, do i have to alter my render settings, as it kind of works if i switch to maya hardware renderer?!
