build me a computer

first of all, pard me if there are bilions of threads like this, I don't view this part of forums verry often.

But hear's a deal:
lets say I have 1900$ and I want to buy a comp or even better, a workstation. What can I get for this money now? If possible, if I can get any workstation for this money, can you write a bit more about this workstation, since I practitcly don't know anything about them.

Tnx!

p.s.:Oh, and ofcourse, I would use it for cgi (modelling, animating & rendering

I sugest you use the search function nad read the past post (not that old).
Then LooK at the Alias site for recomended Vid cards, then do a google search for comertial workstations to see whats in them. Then you could look at tomshardware to read what they have to say.
