Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

using image planes

Hey guys i have used image planes before but i am not sure which is the best way. i want to use the image to trace certain parts but is it best to use create polygon tool or use somethin like create EP curve

please advise

I´d create a polygonPlane and map the file into the color channel - easy and fast.


everything starts and ends in the right place at the right time.
