Nonlinear Animation issue

I have a walk cycle animated and want to continue it for a duration longer than 24 frames. I figured it could be scaled in the trax editor to last longer(ie re-cycle) when I scale out I lose all movement except for what appears to be the up and down movement of the root. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas what's going on.

instead of scaling, why not just... group all your keys together, and then do a copy paste of the whole key group and put it after your existing key set? scaling will just make something go faster or shorter... but if you duplicate your keys and put it after your existing ones then it should loop.

at the same time, you can try going into the graph editor, and under curves, go to post-infinity and choose cycle... it should loop the animation indefinitely, but i've never used it so *shrug*
