Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

My Planar is not smooth !!

I have a swimming pool that I created.
I just draw the curve and duplicte it and then loft the two curves
Then I tried the Planar down to close the pool ( as a ground)
but it's not smooth even in the render

what am I doing wrong ?
and is there a better way to make a pool ?
One more question... I want to add some water.
Is there something cool I can use?

Go back into the planar settings and piss about with them then re apply. I think you should have a minute before assuming people are antagonising you, Joopson took the time to reply it's not his fault his solution isn't for you. Maybe make your question more concise in the future. user added image

Now, for the water filling fun, i have a question:
DO YOU use maya unlimited? if so you have maya fluids and an ocean shader which can be tweaked to look like pool water.
But without Maya unlimited, you need a program like Glu3D or Realflow for the fluids.
i can tell you more when you inform me on whether or not you have maya unlimited user added image
