How to save a screenshot?

Hi,

I need to take a screenshot of an object at the origin, save that screenshot as a .jpg or .bmp, so that I can use it on a symbolButton.

I've tried playblast with frame 1 but it doesn't seem to save the actual file. Is this the right/only way?

Thanks!

Hit the "Print Screen/ Sys Rq" button on your key board. This will take a Screen grab, of whats on your screen.

Ctrl+V to paste it onto a blank document in a program such as PhotoShop, or even Paint.

This should do it. user added image

"Yes."
