Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

a suggestion for a tutorial

I'm not in any rush or anything but I've done a lot of looking around for a video tutorial on Maya live. I just can't seem to understand it at all. Any plans on doing a maya live tutorial ever? Just curious because I think it'd be very helpful. I did also come across this thread https://forum.simplymaya.com/showthre...e&pagenumber=1 which was useful but video tutorials just seem like an easier way for me to learn things. I have a hard time taking in text and retaining the information but video is easier...

Just an idea.

I believe one reason there isn't a huge amount of material on maya live is due to how inadequate and outdated it really is. Any current matchmoving programs blow live out of the window in every respect and it really is very tricky to get a decent match of anything worth shooting.

All I can recommend is checking out the help files and with a bit of research into tracking and such general techniques it should be able to get you through.
