Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Maya scroll through materials?

Hey there
getting near done on my college project

how [or can i?] scroll through my material selections?? As my image shows i have a ton, its a big scene, but the one i want is listed at the top. I know i could rename my material so it fits lower on the list but is there a way to scroll down or or up through my materials??

Sadly, no. However, in the outliner, you can uncheck "DAG Objects Only", and it will show shaders in there as well. If you prefix your material names with something like MAT_, you could filter out everything but them.
