Fluid ncache changes simulation

I have a fluids smoke simulation I'm quite happy with, but when I go to create a fluid ncache, it changes my simulation, and the same goes for batch rendering it. The only way I can get it to look the way I want, its when I play it on my timeline.

The right is when just playing on the timeline, and the right is what it looks like cached.
