Bevel Text

I've created several bevel text. But now I'm unable to create any additional. The polysurface appears in the outliner but the actual object is not visible. Is there any limitations to the number texts?

Nevermind. It appears that Maya didn't like Arial Black. So, I just used Arial.

Hi All, I'm having the same problem as above. I've created five bevel text using Raavi style. But now I too can't create any more. The polysurface appears in the outliner but the actual object is not visible. Why won't Maya let me create any more text for this style? I can create text in other fonts but that isn't what I want. Shutting down and re-opening Maya doesn't help. (I'm using Maya 2012).

Tried deleting my prefs but that didn't help. Now here's the really weird thing I can make any letter except an 'A'!!!!!!!!!!! Just so happens that I need an 'A'. I think I'll have to manually create it which is really annoying.
