Pirated Software

Ok i really should not have to point this out but it's popped up a few times over the last week.

DO NOT REQUEST cracked or pirated software here, let's leave aside the moral issues, I really don't want to get into that.

This forum is monitored by employees from just about every studio out there. I have friends in a lot of them and they all come here. If you're ever looking to work in 3D probably the worst thing you could do when you're just starting out is leave a very public request for stolen software on a site that's read by the people that create said software.

Let me simplify that a bit. You could be the bloody ghost of Chuck Jones and you'll never work for pixar if they search your online history and see a request for a stolen copy of renderman!

Just fair warning i've removed pretty much all such threads in the past so they don't stay on record but i'm a nice guy. Most of what you post on the internet is going to stay on the internet quite publicly forever.

All the best
David
