Have object receive a shadow from one object but not another, same light source

Hi guys,

I have a crowd in a stadium, and i'm using a shadow catcher on the stadium to collect the crowd shadows. The problem is. I have one light, and a plane set up to act as a flag to craft the light more. I need the crowd to cast a shadow on the stadium so I can't set the stadium to not receive shadows. The flag needs to case a shadow on the crowd but NOT cast shadows on the stadium. From one light.

I am using vray but I don't know that that matters per say.

Anyone know how to do this? It seems to be a very tricky thing to actually accomplish.

Thanks for any assistance!

-Ethan
