Maya won't render whole model

I am working on my final animation for the semester. I rendered a frame to see what the shot would look like and it turns out that my main character's geometry isn't fully rendering. I checked the reference file of the model and it wasn't working there either, so I assume it's an issue with the reference file.

Here is an image of my workspace and outliner:

And here is an image of the rendered frame.

It seems to be just the body (pcube5 in outliner) that isn't showing up. Any idea why?
(it's not because the base geometry is hidden. I already tried that.)

I've never had this issue before and I already searched on forums and couldn't find a solution. Any help would be appreciated!

Problem solved. It was a case of bad geometry.
