I can usally get a model modeled in about 12 hours depending on the detail.

The time consuming part is the uv lay out and texturing.

When i first started it took me a while to get fast at modeling. Just keep with it and the speed will come... As you keep it up you will pick up trick that speed up you technique

It'll be worth it I'm sure; I like the subtle shaders, it's a great skin job.

The skins color, bump and spec... is all done in maya paint and photo shop. no shaders.... I wish i had the extra cash for deep paint

It's very well done, all the transitions are really smooth and natural looking. That's real 3d art imho.

howardporter: ya im going to try to make them a bit transparent and veins yes.

Almost done the nik naks. Just the wrist bands left to do, then off to the wings.... should be able to finish him this week I hope...

Well in the home stretch, have the wing mem-brain pretty much done.. Just have the outter part to do and the wrist band..
