October Challenge - Nataliia - Newbie

Well, I was defeated by my lack of texturing skills last month, but I'll try again.

Going for the squeaky door/screams clip, with monkeys. :bgreen:

Well, I have created my first monkey. Not sure if there will be multiple monkeys or a duplication of this one, but there will be more than one monkey. (as in, "this challenge is more fun than"....er well, anyway user added image ).

Mr. Monkey (no, he's not supposed to be life-like user added image just monkey-ish)

Rigging is making me lose hair, sleep, and family, so I decided to start on the environment for some calming moments user added image

Yes, it's meant to be fairly hideous, but only the most elite monkeys use this spa.

Well, I hate to do this, but it's beyond my control user added image

I must bow out and not finish this month's challenge user added image I have to many other things going on at this time (hurrah for Girl Scouts) to enable me to do this. As I'd never even read the chapter on animation prior to this challenge, I went into it totally clueless and, with the time I've been able to put into it lately, remain so to this point.

There is no way, with the RL things going on currently, that I will have the time to both research, try, fail, retry, scream, retry yet again, until something moves user added image So...I'm outta here. Hopefully Monkey will move some time in the near future.
