view ports

There are only 4 view ports (side, top, front, and perspective), but can you make one panel "back" or "side" from the opposite direction? Also how does one make an object non renderable? I am making cloth and wanted to make it a colosion object and it can't be rendered but must follow the model. should I just group it with the model so that the non renderable objects follow the animation?

Sorry so many question!

Those side, top, front, and perspective are just regular cameras. First three of them are orthographic. You can see them in the outliner (they are hidden in the viewports).

If you want a back camera, you could duplicate the front camera and move and rotate it around to the opposite side. Same goes for another side cam.

In the view pain, click on View>Predefined Bookmarks. There are book marks there to change the view to back, or the other side ortho. If you have the views name terned on though the book marks will not change that. At least it do not for me. But it will be the one the bookmark said.

About the visible in a render. In the Atributes box, not the chanel box. there should be the node for your shape, its the second tab over from the left. Down that list is Render Stats, expand that, and uncheak the Primary Visibility.

I think that will do it for ya.
