Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

I'm working on a fight sequence, the good guy and the henchman.
It will feature a lot of stylised fighting, Captain Kirk style combat, in a hommage to classic science fiction!

it's really odd, because i was working on and designing this character long before pixar ever publicly mentioned the incredibles, so it's very odd to see mr incredible looking so similar to my character.

I guess if i go through the creative process and end up with something similar to what pixar came up with then i'm not far off the right track user added image

Influence wise, i looked at:
the Justice League Maquettes,
https://comics.toonzone.net/covers/20...n-maquette.jpg
The batman video game done by UBI soft.
Buzz Light year
Classic Star Trek
Classic Flash Gordon (the Buster Keton serials)
Old school Marvel and DC comics
Any retro sci-fi

I should have some more animation up in the next few days!
keep your eyes posted.
