curve points

yeaah!
Well I'm working on a car right now and I'm woundering when I'm doing a CV curve I can choose point "mode" or edit points to se were my point is... well its important to have matching points with the other curve when using the Birail 3+ tool... Is it possible to insert new points when curve has been made?

I mean when creating a curve I can only see the vertex...

If you use Edit Curves > Rebuild Curves > Options, you can change the number of spans, which adds or takes away a curves' "geometry".

Can also use the Insert Knot command while a curve point is selected, but it's not as clean.
