This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Continuity nice and smoothed in poly?

hey, thats the point, for example in nurbs i can close perfectly a cilynder, and align the hulls, and there ill have nice and smoothed surface... but in poly, imagine i hace a cilynder of 50 sections, and i wanna close it... how can i make that horrible point dessapear?

I'd probably cap it with the Append to Polygon Tool rather than extruding the edges down to a point in the center.
