Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

using bitmap references

Hi there!

I want to build a car in Maya Unltd. - am a COMPLETE beginner with basic knowledge (with LOADS of books...!) but I need to know how I can use a bitmap image to build from as the tutorial I have shows the sketch of the car on the actual grid (to build on), in three sections (top, one side , other side).
Step 1 tells me to get my picture referenced but the books I have don;t tell me how to seperate all the different parts....

Help!
