Hey vietcong......to display ur poly count go to the main menu,.....Display> Heads up display> Poly count

... small progress update...

have to do a lot of java and C the next two weeks, propably there will be no update during this time.... cause iam very bad at programming user added image user added image

looking forward to buy my first simply maya tutorial - should be complete from scratch to texturing or even to animation.
Think i will specialize me to non organic modeling, maybe only special vehicles

Which one do you recommend?

nice work, whats ur poly count looking like now?

If ur after a complete build/texture/animate package for vehicles u can't really go wrong with the apache user added image

yes... i also thought about the apache tut.. but its expensive user added image and to massiv...
Cause I don't want to model an apache - thinking about a crane or so for my next model. and finishing the apache tutorial will last to long
maybe i will buy the assault mech tutorial... hopefully there is an animation tutorial planned for the future.
maybe i'll buy only a texturing tutorial, but there is still so much to learn about modelling... hmm don't know

long time no post.... sorry for that, had a lot of problems to fix, also had much work for university.

But now i have a little more time for maya.... finally - Jippie user added image
