Ouch, 15" displays hurt, I can tell!

Had one standing here until recently, when I got the 2nd SGI - after that I could replace it with my 17" Belinea.

As one can never have enough, I'd love to get my hands on this baby: https://www.neoseeker.com/resourcelink.html?rlid=19853

This is the same monitor you get when you purchase a SFFFI system...yummi! user added image

hey Ankalagon,
both of these apps (maya 4.5 & 5) work great on my computer (without any errors whatsoever.. ) but,.. speaking resource wise, i did a little research, and my statistics are here:
Maya 4.5 |||| Uses 91Mb of my RAM memory |||| 72 of my PF memory
Maya 5 |||| Uses 136Mb of my RAM memory |||| 115 of my PF memory
...plus, on my Maya 4.5 I have 4 plug-ins auto-enabled, which are: CpClothPlugin.mll; Fur.mll; mayalive.mll; rotateHelper.mll
...and on my Maya 5 I have only 1 plug-in auto-enabled, which is: CpClothPlugin.mll

you make your own conclusion... user added image

An idea is delicate.
It can be killed by a sneer or yawn,
It can be stabbed to death by a joke
Or worried to death by a frown

I'm not gonna post a screenshot, 'cause my desktop is so cluttered you wouldn't be able to see anything.

So it's just the image. Something I cooked up in photoshop after simultaneously watching a Don Hertzfeldt film and thinking about where metallurgy came from.

(I know it's total crap, it was a 5 minute job meant to be.. erm.. crappy.)

The development of metallurgy:

Person 1: Hey person 2, I have a really neat idea! Let’s build a massively hot enormous fire for no reason.
Person 2: Yeah! Let’s go do that right now.
(later)
Person 1: what an enormous, hot fire.
Person 2: let’s get rocks!
Person 1: OK!
(later)
Person 1: wow! Look at all these rocks! Oops!
Person 1 drops the rocks in the fire
Person 1: I have another good idea! Let’s just leave the rocks in there for a few days.
