Kevin: U right.....the texture it is quite dark.....I have rpoblem to texture.....everything what I make become dark at the beginning....cause when I get into compositing stage I allways use littler bit fog, what helps to make the scene more kind of bright also make it more realistic., so with standart or 3 points lights almost all my texture isn't nice.....but in this thread I will be rigging this model also some of the last images I would like to do some test with the envoriment, and then u can have a better look.
Twist: As u request.....is almost everything quite simple modeling...

Twisted: I know u are fan of mecha.....but one thing I realise after some mechanic models I made is that simple to model but when u mapped is really pain in the neck....
I used the most large image as 1200/1200 in this model and the most small 400/400........

WWWWWWWWWoooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was really...reaalllyyy crazy stuff....
I just finished the riggin of this weild model and I need to confess.....
I never will do some modelling using just one side of image reference or by any quick scketh....I promise myself that next time I will do a nice scketh and nice comcept.
Was a nightmare riggin this one....I tryed to put in image but is toooooo long hierarchy......
So I basically I needed to cheat or make way around.....that kind of stuff, workin on connection, expression, driven key, etc..etc....etc.....
anyway as far my model is that as u can see in the image....
I'll hope my riggin doesn't crash when I get into animation.....

And this shows how it's lookin from inside I mean...
A lot of curves, is all for "controls" like bend, twist, rotation...
actually I made in the way to don't need to select any object cause like I said before my hypergraph is quite mess, bones parented to objects and vice verse...
Kurt: As I notice u are expert in animation, aren't u.....so when some model didn't was modelled proper to be rig, but u rigged in quite miracle way, but probably u will have to brake your head to animate......what I suppose to do????re-build the parts what is not helpin??? or try something else cause allways have another way to solve the problem????
I mean cheat or not to cheat????

Great texturing and modling. I love the little puppy sketch in the corner. I busted up when I saw that. Here you have this evil looking beast and a sketch of a cute little puppy.
