I was planning on keeping the middle section subd. But th epoly sections are looking pretty nice now. ill throw a screenshot.

And i was planning on having it fly slightly off the ground(almost hover) but when it stops it has sled/skis that come out from under it. 3 point landing system.

Good question though. helped me concentrate on how it will look.

I think(while reassembling my engine) i found a way to make it collapse into itself for storage purposes. And i think i know a way for the cockpit to collapse into the fuselage... So like.. when its parked it goes into compact lockdown mode...

Just a thought. im gunna sketch out some ideas tomorrow...

Sounds interesting user added image Looking forward to the sketches.

Are you specialising in modeling? If you are, would you consider modeling stuff for me so I could texture/light it? Just a thought user added image

I prefer modeling to texturing by far. I just like to add detail in modeling than textures.. just how i am.

I plan to texture this one. But if you would like to texture it when im done ill be more than happy to give you the file to texture. As long as you show me the finished productuser added image(curious to how my creation evolves)

are you going to add any dynamics to it, like electricity surging through parts?

I want to add something. I was planning on using some basic particle effects for the jet trails and so on.

The tubing in the enging will have power surging through it but im not sure how to do it yet, ive come up with 2 possibilities to do it and im looking for a third just incase.

I was looking around and got a suggestion for skd limits for some stuff too and that will help.

I plan on going pretty in depth.

The engine is complete. Going to be setting up the animation later though. Ill get a render of it with the engine "Engaged". This is the collapsed storage/parking mode.

Well engine is done on modeling(maybe a few small tweaks here and there...)

Well. i started on the body again. decided to scrap the thing i had and start over. same design, but going poly this time to match the engine... While still trying to get a good amount of detail. I just wish i had something to go by....

Note:

1)Im going to make an air intake in the front.(so its not pointy)
2)I need to make a few more curves in it so its not.. well.. a cylinder.
3)Reinforce the windsheld again.
4)Add a headlight(something i thought up at work)
and come up with some landing gear designs...
5)Add the tail and rudders.
6)more detail....

Not in order... here we go.

mabye on engine engage, you could have the spires in the back flip up and spread out, as if it were a flower, although that would be hard because you would need to move vertexes around..
